Tech Lead / Engineering Manager (Fullstack JS/TS)

TL;DR

Tech Lead / Engineering Manager (Fullstack JS/TS): Designing, building, and shipping features across frontend and backend for a B2B SaaS business with an accent on improving performance and progressively taking leadership within the squad. Location: Remote-first culture, based in French timezone (+/- 2h), with an office in Paris if preferred.

Salary: €65,000–€75,000 fixed + €15,000 bonus

What you will do

• Build new features end-to-end (frontend + backend) in collaboration with the Product team.
• Improve the codebase through refactoring, bug fixes, and optimization efforts.
• Collaborate with the team to resolve technical issues and share knowledge.
• Mentor fellow developers to raise the technical bar within the squad.
• Step up as Tech Lead to drive quality, make technical decisions, and align delivery.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in TypeScript / JavaScript (frontend + backend).
• Solid skills in Node.js, React, and MongoDB.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining web applications.
• Autonomous, fast learner, and collaborative mindset.
• Fluent in French & English.
• Based in French timezone (+/- 2h).

Nice to have

• B2B SaaS startup experience.
• Experience with Meteorjs or real-time applications.
• Self-taught or side-project builder with a passion for experimenting.
