Senior Backend Developer (TypeScript/Python): Building and optimizing high-load backend services for a global automotive data platform with an accent on data normalization, scalable API design, and event-driven architecture. Focus on designing cloud-native services in AWS, maintaining infrastructure as code, and driving the full lifecycle of product features from conception to deployment.

Location: Hybrid (must be able to work from the Vilnius office)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services capable of scaling across 30+ international markets.
• Build and improve data processing tools to normalize, clean, and standardize global vehicle datasets.
• Operate within a product-focused team, taking full ownership of features from the initial idea to production deployment.
• Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate on improving system performance and reliability through continuous testing and release cycles.

Requirements

• Proficiency in backend development using TypeScript or Python.
• Solid experience with AWS services (Lambda, ECS, SQS, DynamoDB, etc.).
• Strong understanding of SQL, specifically PostgreSQL, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and GitHub Actions.
• Good communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
• Understanding of the interaction between backend logic and frontend components.
