TL;DR

Account Executive (AWS): Identifying new prospects and managing the entire sales cycle for AWS cloud products and services, with an accent on pipeline generation, deal management, and achieving sales quotas. Focus on understanding complex customer requirements and co-selling with AWS executives.

Location: Hybrid in the UK, with an expectation to commute to London at least once per week.

What you will do

  • Identify new prospects and generate business growth opportunities within the UK.
  • Manage the entire new business sales cycle, including solution pitching, negotiations, and closing deals.
  • Co-sell with AWS Executives and Partner Managers to maximize business results.
  • Understand complex customer requirements on both business and technical levels.
  • Ensure forecast accuracy and high-standard customer proposals and contracts.
  • Travel 30-40% per month for AWS meetings, events, and customer meetings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience of co-selling with AWS.
  • 3+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in the technology industry with Cloud Reseller, Cloud Vendor, SaaS, PaaS or IaaS products.
  • Consistent record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • In-depth understanding of the technology and cloud computing market, and a passion for AWS products.
  • High degree of self-discipline and experience using CRM systems and sales forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, both written and verbal.
