Renewal Manager (HRTech, SaaS): Driving customer retention by managing contract renewals for mid-market and enterprise accounts with an accent on negotiation, objection handling, and maximizing gross and net revenue retention. Location: Must be based in the New York Metro Area and willing to work in our NYC office 2-3 days a week.
Salary: $76,500 – $103,500 per year (base), plus 30% variable compensation.

What you will do
- Lead the contract renewal process for a portfolio of customers, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Manage segment-specific renewal strategies, including automated, uplift, and manual high-touch processes.
- Handle contract negotiation, terms, pricing, and details in alignment with company policies.
- Collaborate with CSMs, AMs, and internal teams to assess risk, mitigate churn, and convert expansion opportunities.
- Protect existing revenue streams and meet/exceed uplift, upsell, gross, and net retention KPIs.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and provide regular renewal reporting and forecasting.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of customer success principles and a customer-centric mindset.
- Fluency in Spanish (written and verbal) is required.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding renewal and retention targets.
- Experience managing auto-renewal, uplift, and manual renewal processes.
- Strong influence, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
- Proficiency with CRM and renewal tools (e.g., Salesforce, ChurnZero, Google Suite).
