TL;DR

Head of Sales (Fintech): Owning and scaling the sales engine for a Brokerage-as-a-Service platform with an accent on direct sales motion, strategic partnerships, and end-to-end sales process. Focus on developing outbound strategies, qualifying business cases, and collaborating with product and operations to enhance product-market fit.

Location: Hybrid (Germany), with regular onsite meetings in Berlin. Work from anywhere in the EU for up to 60 days per year.

What you will do

  • Own the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting and commercial proposals.
  • Build strong relationships with key champions and ecosystem players, involving experts for solution engineering.
  • Lead and coach the GTM team, fostering their knowledge and efficient resource allocation.
  • Develop existing sales processes to ensure an efficient and best-in-class approach.
  • Classify, group, and prioritize companies according to use cases.
  • Qualify, calculate, and evaluate business cases to help partners with monetization strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Partnerships, and Operations to improve product-market fit.

Requirements

  • Extensive B2B sales experience within the German and broader European financial or technology sector.
  • Proven leadership experience (managing, mentoring, or coaching a team).
  • Proactive hunter mentality to source and develop opportunities and expand network.
  • Adaptable and creative in exploring new sales strategies.
  • C1+ proficiency in both German and English.
  • Operate with ownership and a bias for action, building lasting partnerships.
