TL;DR

Senior Business Developer (Fintech): Developing and owning strategic account plans and deal progression strategy for a portfolio of key prospects in collaboration with Enterprise Sales Representatives with an accent on in-depth market and account analysis to generate actionable insights. Location: Hybrid in London, UK (three days per week in office)

What you will do

  • Develop and own strategic account plans and deal progression strategy for a portfolio of key prospects.
  • Serve as an internal methodology expert and trusted advisor on strategic accounts, market trends, and business challenges.
  • Conduct in-depth market and account analysis to generate actionable insights and accelerate sales cycles.
  • Proactively leverage AI-driven systems (e.g., Salesforce, 6Sense) and advanced analytics to optimize lead generation and strategic planning.
  • Nurture, develop, and deepen relationships with existing and prospective merchants in collaboration with Sales.
  • Influence cross-functional teams (Product, Solutions Engineering, Legal) to ensure an aligned effort for key merchants.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in Enterprise Sales Development, Strategic Account Management, or Consultative B2B Sales, preferably in payments, fintech, banking, or financial services.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain deep, multi-threaded relationships with multiple stakeholders up to the C-suite level within a large enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data/CRM (e.g., Salesforce) for account mapping, opportunity identification, and accurate forecasting.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial/technical value propositions to senior stakeholders.
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise shifting workloads and responsibilities effectively.
  • Commercially minded and possesses a deep understanding of issues large accounts are facing.
  • AI savvy user of enterprise tools and technologies.
  • Fluent in English (other languages are a plus).
