What you will do
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Revenue Operations, and FP&A to review customer contracts and identify revenue implications.
- Support the monthly and quarterly revenue close process, including trend and variance analyses, preparation of journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Assist with the preparation of revenue disclosures and documentation to support SEC filings (10-Qs & 10-Ks).
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, particularly ASC 606, and internal revenue recognition policies.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls over revenue recognition in accordance with SOX requirements.
- Participate in system implementations, enhancements, and automation initiatives related to revenue processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong focus on revenue recognition.
- Experience in a public accounting firm and/or a publicly traded technology company (preferably SaaS or cybersecurity).
- Solid understanding of US GAAP, ASC 606, and SOX compliance.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
- Must be eligible to work in the USA.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems and revenue automation tools (e.g., NetSuite ARM, Zuora, Aptitude).
