What you will do
- Serve as the primary revenue advisor for new product launches and evolving monetization models.
- Translate technical conclusions into practical guardrails influencing product design and go-to-market strategy.
- Partner with Growth, GTM, StratFin, Legal, and Deal Desk to embed revenue considerations into contract negotiations and product development.
- Draft and maintain technical accounting memos and policies documenting positions on complex arrangements under ASC 606.
- Collaborate with Finance Systems and Engineering teams to drive automation initiatives for contract intake and revenue reporting.
- Mentor and guide the technical revenue team, elevating the team’s ability to proactively influence product and contract decisions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of technical revenue accounting experience with expertise in ASC 606 across SaaS and professional services arrangements.
- Experience advising Product and GTM teams on pricing and revenue recognition implications.
- Ability to bridge technical accounting conclusions with system implementation for GAAP-compliant and scalable revenue treatment.
- Deep contract review experience, including multi-element arrangements and complex enterprise agreements.
- Familiarity with order-to-cash workflows and revenue automation tools.
- Strong executive communication skills to translate complex accounting guidance into actionable advice.
- CPA strongly preferred; a mix of Big 4 and tech industry experience in high-growth environments is highly valued.
