What you will do

• Support developers by debugging infrastructure and deployment issues in hirify.global environments using Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud services.
• Investigate and resolve performance bottlenecks, networking problems, and availability incidents.
• Build and improve infrastructure tooling including observability and monitoring solutions with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and developer advocacy teams to share knowledge and improve systems.
• Document best practices, troubleshooting playbooks, and infrastructure guides for the developer community.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support production deployments and respond to critical issues.

Requirements

• Must be based in or have the ability to work remotely from the United Kingdom.
• 5+ years experience in cloud-based infrastructure engineering.
• Proficiency with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for production performance and availability issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear technical guidance.

Nice to have

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CDK.
• Knowledge of security certificate management.
• Background in customer-facing roles such as professional services or developer advocacy.
• Programming skills in Python, Go, Java, or TypeScript.
