Europe People Operations Team Lead

Miro is looking for an exceptional People Operations Team Lead to drive operational excellence across Europe and elevate the People Ops function globally. This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll manage the regional People Ops team, serve as the EU/UK compliance expert, and build scalable processes powered by automation and AI.
What you’ll do
— Lead and develop the European People Ops team, fostering a culture of care, growth and high performance
— Act as the subject-matter expert on UK & EU employment law (NL experience strongly required)
— Partner with Legal, People Tech, Payroll, TR, and PBPs to ensure compliant, scalable operations
— Resolve high-complexity employee cases and escalations
— Build and optimise processes, leveraging automation and AI
— Drive complex cross-functional projects with precision and clear documentation
— Mentor People Ops peers globally and elevate operational standards
— Use data to analyse performance trends and shape strategic actions
What you’ll need
— 6+ years in HR with deep experience operationalising EU & UK employment law
— Significant hands-on experience with Dutch employment frameworks
— Proven leadership experience: managing direct reports + mentoring globally
— Strong track record in implementing automation/AI to improve service delivery
— Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills
— Ability to simplify complex legal/operational topics into clear, actionable guidance
— Excellent program and project management skills
— Ability to thrive in ambiguity and build structure while handling escalations
