What you will do

  • Be the first point of contact for compliance advice on payment products and services.
  • Provide clear and proactive compliance advice, especially on PSRs and Consumer Duty.
  • Review customer journeys and communications to ensure good customer outcomes.
  • Advise Marketing and Financial Promotion teams on financial promotion rules and guidance.
  • Conduct regular horizon scanning for regulatory changes impacting payments.
  • Oversee regulatory breaches and incidents related to payment services, including timely assessment and notification.

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of Payment Services Regulation (PSR), FCA handbook sections relevant to payments, and Consumer Duty rules.
  • Hands-on experience advising on payment products and services, ideally from a bank or E-money Institution (issuing and/or acquiring experience).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a hands-on approach.
  • Ability to weigh risks and find balanced solutions, working independently with changing priorities.
  • Passion for compliance and the future of banking.
