Salary: $210,000–$490,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Drive the design, development, and implementation of tools and systems to accelerate engineering velocity and quality.
• Utilize latest AI tools to redefine industry-leading productivity practices.
• Collaborate with various hirify.global teams to understand and address their workflow challenges.
• Partner with product engineers to establish technical foundations for new features and research.
• Guide product engineering teams on best practices for observable, scalable systems.
• Ensure reliability of built systems, including participation in on-call rotation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in engineering, with 3+ years in infrastructure building tooling for developers.
• Experience-driven empathy for the tools, frustrations, and processes that slow down engineering teams.
• Strong desire to learn and share knowledge clearly and concisely.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and rapidly changing conditions, capable of adding structure and order.
• Proficiency with technologies like Terraform, Buildkite, Postgres, Cosmos DB, Kafka, Python, and FastAPI.
• Must be based in our San Francisco HQ.
