Senior Strategic Workforce Planning Specialist (HR): Delivering future-focused and actionable Strategic Workforce Plans for hirify.global, ensuring the right skills are in place for business and people transformations with an accent on defining future skills demand, analyzing current capabilities, and influencing across People & Culture. Focus on workforce modelling, data-driven forecasting, and designing critical skills ecosystems for long-term strategic alignment.

Location: Hybrid working in London or Bristol, United Kingdom (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

What you will do

  • Turn BT’s future skills strategy into actionable plans aligned with FY30 ambitions.
  • Lead workforce modelling to identify gaps in capacity, capability, and location for critical business units.
  • Use market trends and internal analytics to build scenarios and forecasts, advising senior leaders on workforce risks.
  • Design and govern frameworks for identifying, building, and acquiring critical skills.
  • Ensure workforce planning informs organisational design, role architecture, and capability development.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders, influencing decisions through evidence-based recommendations.

Requirements

  • Expertise in Strategic Workforce Planning (demand/supply modelling, scenario planning, workforce analytics).
  • Strong ability to interpret complex data, build dashboards, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Knowledge of skills frameworks and interventions (build, buy, borrow).
  • Experience linking workforce planning outputs to structure and capability decisions.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and collaborate across HR, Finance, and business units.
  • Experience applying agile methodologies and managing large-scale, cross-functional programmes.
