What you will do

• Lead a squad of 2–4 engineers to deliver measurable product impact across the Web SDK and supporting services.
• Design and map how the Web SDK, backend APIs, and hirify.global platform fit together to achieve customer outcomes, deciding when to use AI or automate.
• Define and ensure reliable operation for the Web SDK and platform endpoints, including setting SLOs and running incident reviews.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Customer teams to translate goals into scope and make explicit trade-offs.
• Mentor engineers, keep high standards for code quality, and help the team reason about systems.
• Use AI tools by default for exploration, scaffolding, documentation, and analysis, designing processes where AI handles the first 80%.

Requirements

• Technical leadership: proven experience leading a small team (2–4 engineers) or a significant stream of work end-to-end.
• End-to-end problem ownership: ability to drive fuzzy problems from initial discovery through build, launch, iteration, and scaling.
• Practical problem solving: skilled at cutting scope intelligently, making explicit trade-offs, and choosing the smallest reversible steps based on business goals.
• Clear, direct communication: capable of setting crisp expectations with stakeholders and providing candid, constructive feedback.
• AI-native mindset: a natural inclination to explore how AI and automation can solve most problems, coupled with the ability to verify and correct AI outputs effectively.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure (or equivalent cloud), CI/CD, feature flags, safe rollouts/rollbacks.
• Experience with SDKs, client libraries, or platform products where integration UX matters.
• Interest in sport and fan engagement.
