ServiceNow HR Software Engineer (ServiceNow HRSD): Designing and delivering innovative solutions within the ServiceNow platform to simplify HR processes and enhance employee experiences with an accent on custom solution development, system integrations, and platform upgrades. Focus on collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications, supporting BAU queries, and ensuring quality through testing and deployment.

Location: Hybrid working in Halifax or Leeds, UK (at least two days per week onsite)

Salary: £47,790–£58,410 per annum

What you will do

• Design and develop custom solutions within the ServiceNow platform to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and maintain accurate Jira stories and Confluence documentation.
• Build integrations with systems such as Workday and Microsoft Azure-hosted applications.
• Support BAU queries, analyse production incidents, and maintain technical documentation.
• Participate in system testing, UAT, and deployment, and assist with platform upgrades.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Engineer, with at least 2 years of hands-on Workday integration and development.
• Strong proficiency in ServiceNow technologies including JavaScript, Business Rules, Flow Designer, UI Policies, and Document Transformation.
• Understanding of Generative AI and automation.
• Experience with integration protocols such as SOAP, REST, XML, and XSLT.
• Awareness of ServiceNow security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday, SAP, GCP.
• Familiarity with GitHub, containerisation, Kubernetes, and automation.
