What you will do

• Design services consistent with government standards and best practices.
• Advocate for users and create service maps, blueprints, and user journey visualizations.
• Communicate complex design concepts to stakeholders and users.
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and participate in research activities.
• Coach and mentor junior team members and support community of practice activities.
• Support project bids, hiring, and training alongside leadership.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the UK or able to work with UK government projects.
• Proven experience in service design and user-centred design principles.
• Ability to communicate abstract concepts clearly and run workshops.
• Experience with GDS/GOV.UK style guide and agile environments.
• Strong collaboration and storytelling skills.
• Relevant industry experience and passion for service design.
