Product Designer (Fintech)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Design user-centred experiences for web and mobile applications from concept to high-fidelity prototypes.
• Own Figma workflows and maintain design components, libraries, and tokens for scalable design systems.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and QA to align designs with business goals and technical feasibility.
• Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback to improve user experience.
• Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
• Document design decisions and present work in design reviews and stakeholder sessions.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work hybrid with minimum 2 days per week in Sheffield office
• 3–5 years experience in UX/UI or Product Design roles.
• Expert proficiency in Figma including component libraries, auto-layout, and prototyping.
• Strong understanding of responsive design and interaction patterns.
• Experience with usability testing and interpreting qualitative/quantitative feedback.
• Familiarity with Agile workflows and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence).

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of design systems and accessibility standards.
• Basic motion design or UX writing skills.
