What you will do
- Lead and build a new field sales organization to provide local experiences to sellers.
- Engage with Territory Account Executives and sellers in relevant and authentic ways.
- Plan, organize, and lead field sales teams focused on SMB merchants across restaurants, retailers, and service businesses.
- Build a vision and strategy plan for capturing market share in assigned cities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to generate leads, referrals, and connect with local partners.
- Drive revenue against annual sales quotas and contribute to Square's sales strategy.
Requirements
- 8+ years of sales success, preferably in a high-growth company.
- 5+ years of leadership experience, ideally leading a team of field account executives.
- Experience in high transaction volume SaaS application or financial services sales.
- Proven track record of creating a winning, high-performance sales culture.
- Extensive experience in a metrics-driven sales organization.
- Ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams and departments in a rapidly growing environment.
