What you will do

• Architect and build LLM-powered agents to support decision-making in regulated environments.
• Improve and extend an existing system already in production.
• Lead the development of a brand-new, greenfield AI product.
• Choose and implement the infrastructure, models, and tooling stack.
• Balance experimentation with delivering robust, audit-friendly systems.
• Operate as a true founding engineer with high autonomy, trust, and equity.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or backend systems with a strong applied AI focus.
• Proven experience deploying LLMs or agent-based systems in production.
• Strong Python skills.
• Solid grasp of system design, architecture, and model integration.
• Startup-ready mindset: proactive, pragmatic, and comfortable owning delivery.
• Interest in working in a lean, fast-moving, early-stage environment.

Nice to have

• B2B SaaS, fintech, or regulated industry background.
• Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector stores, or agentic design patterns.
• JavaScript experience.
• Founding engineer or early startup hire experience.
