What you will do
- Lead the end-to-end creation and refinement of IB MYP and DP mathematics textbook content, from planning through publication.
- Plan timelines and milestones and coordinate delivery across writers, educators, and editors.
- Review lessons, questions, solutions, and explanatory materials for accuracy, clarity, pedagogical quality, and IB alignment.
- Provide detailed feedback and mentor content writers on IB curriculum design and educational best practices.
- Improve content development workflows and use AI and other technology tools to support content creation, analysis, and review.
- Own final quality assurance for fact-checked, engaging, polished, and pedagogically sound textbook units and chapters.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of the IB Mathematics curriculum for the MYP and DP, including objectives, assessment criteria, and IB-style problem design.
- Several years of experience teaching IB MYP or DP Mathematics, or developing IB-aligned curriculum materials.
- Experience creating educational content such as mathematics textbook chapters, lesson plans, or exam-style questions.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, including experience coordinating projects or teams in education or publishing.
- High comfort with technology and AI tools, with willingness to experiment with software that improves productivity and content quality.
- Excellent written communication, collaboration, attention to detail, and commitment to academic accuracy.
Nice to have
- Experience in educational publishing or editing mathematics learning content.
- Experience writing or grading mathematics examinations.
- Experience with Python, SQL, LaTeX, or other mathematics authoring and data tools.
