What you will do

• Oversee the end-to-end creation of IB MYP & DP mathematics textbook content, managing timelines and milestones.
• Ensure all lessons, examples, and practice questions are tightly aligned with IB curriculum requirements and approaches.
• Conduct thorough reviews of content, providing detailed feedback to authors to improve clarity and pedagogical effectiveness.
• Coordinate with a team of content developers, educators, and editors, facilitating collaboration and mentoring writers.
• Continuously refine content development and review processes, proactively leveraging technology and AI tools for efficiency.
• Own the final quality, ensuring each unit meets world-class standards for academic accuracy, pedagogical soundness, and student engagement.

Requirements

• IB Curriculum Expertise: Extensive knowledge of the IB mathematics curriculum for MYP and DP, with ideally a few years of experience teaching or developing IB-aligned materials.
• Content Development Experience: Strong background in educational content creation, such as writing or editing math textbook chapters or lesson plans.
• Project Management Skills: Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with experience leading projects or teams in an education or publishing context.
• Tech Savvy & AI Proficiency: High comfort with technology and a willingness to use and experiment with modern AI tools to enhance productivity and content quality.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, especially in writing clear, constructive feedback, and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team.
• Detail Orientation and Quality Focus: Meticulous attention to academic accuracy, formatting, consistency, and a passion for maintaining high quality standards.

Nice to have

• Educational Publishing Experience: Prior experience in a curriculum publishing role or as an editor for math educational content.
• Assessment and Exam Insight: Experience writing or grading mathematics exams for IB or other curricula.
