TL;DR

Strategic Workforce Specialist: Develop and deliver strategic workforce plans and tooling to align skills and capabilities with long-term business strategy with an accent on workforce data analysis, market benchmarking, and stakeholder collaboration. Focus on designing strategic workforce management roadmaps, forecasting future workforce needs, and influencing HR activities to close capability gaps.

Location: Hybrid in London or Bristol, United Kingdom (3 days in office, 2 remote)

What you will do

  • Support development and delivery of BT’s Strategic Workforce Plan aligned with business strategy.
  • Lead design of strategic workforce management tooling roadmap in collaboration with Digital partners.
  • Conduct market scanning and benchmarking to keep workforce practices current.
  • Develop workforce data insights to inform People Strategy and decision-making.
  • Act as trusted consultant to business leaders on workforce planning matters.
  • Collaborate across hirify.global to align strategic workforce planning and workforce management activities.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid in London or Bristol, UK
  • Experience in strategic workforce planning lifecycle including forecasting and gap analysis.
  • Strong data analysis skills with Excel modelling; experience with Power BI or Anaplan preferred.
  • Ability to influence and build relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of HR levers shaping workforce development.
  • Strong strategic thinking and political astuteness.

Nice to have

  • Experience working in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Familiarity with workforce management communities and tooling.
