What you will do
- Design and implement scalable backend features and microservices using REST/gRPC and event-driven patterns.
- Architect robust systems for high-throughput, real-time transaction processing.
- Collaborate with product teams to define technical solutions in ambiguous environments.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership through reviews and guidance.
- Develop test automation for continuous integration and deployment.
- Debug and troubleshoot production issues to maintain service stability.
Requirements
- Location: Must work hybrid with presence in Mountain View, US office 2 days per week
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with scalable backend solutions.
- Experience with microservices architectures and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, C#, or Python backend languages.
- Strong SQL skills; NoSQL experience is a plus.
- Experience in fintech or building 0-to-1 products with scalable architectures.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
