What you will do

• Design and implement scalable backend features and microservices using REST/gRPC and event-driven patterns.
• Architect robust systems for high-throughput, real-time transaction processing.
• Collaborate with product teams to define technical solutions in ambiguous environments.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership through reviews and guidance.
• Develop test automation for continuous integration and deployment.
• Debug and troubleshoot production issues to maintain service stability.

Requirements

• Location: Must work hybrid with presence in Mountain View, US office 2 days per week
• 7+ years of software engineering experience with scalable backend solutions.
• Experience with microservices architectures and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, C#, or Python backend languages.
• Strong SQL skills; NoSQL experience is a plus.
• Experience in fintech or building 0-to-1 products with scalable architectures.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
