What you will do

• Design and implement technology solutions for regulatory reporting in capital markets.
• Collaborate with business partners and cross-functional teams on critical initiatives.
• Develop and maintain high-volume data ingestion and reporting platforms using KDB+ and other technologies.
• Write code for product features following agile and continuous integration/deployment practices.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
• Contribute to organizational innovation and productivity improvements.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work hybrid onsite in Jersey City, New Jersey.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• At least 10 years of software engineering experience, preferably in capital markets or cryptocurrency trading.
• Strong experience with KDB+, Linux, Python, Java, SQL, and microservice architectures.
• Experience designing APIs, distributed systems, and resilient messaging services.
• Proficient in managing high volumes of data and working knowledge of relational and time series databases.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and acceptance test-driven development is a plus.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Control M scheduling tool.
• Passion and experience with cryptocurrencies and keeping up to date in the space.
• Exposure to trading and algorithmic trading systems.
