TL;DR

Software Engineer (Fintech): Building and optimizing core financial platforms and product features with an accent on scalability, correctness, and high-concurrency systems. Location: Must be based in Menlo Park, CA with in-person attendance expected at least three days per week.

Salary: $161,637–$195,000 per year

What you will do

  • Build and release product-facing and platform features related to market data, trading, and security.
  • Design and implement REST APIs and messaging middleware to support complex financial processes.
  • Develop and optimize database queries for high-scale storage and retrieval.
  • Analyze and resolve scalability and performance bottlenecks within distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, risk, and data to deliver reliable solutions.
  • Integrate with external trading partners to facilitate asset class support.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Golang and Python for software design and algorithm implementation.
  • Experience with distributed, highly concurrent systems and microservice architecture.
  • Strong background in REST design and implementation.
  • Expertise in cloud computing platforms and orchestration technology.
  • Proficiency in relational and NoSQL database systems and query optimization.
