Backend Engineer

What you will do

• Design, develop, operate, and support microservices end to end.
• Define application architecture and implement features per business requirements.
• Ensure software quality via code reviews, tooling, and documentation.
• Optimize performance, stability, and maintainability of services.
• Collaborate closely with product management, content creators, and QA teams.
• Manage infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for SaaS customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in software development or IT.
• 2-4 years professional experience with Python and/or Java.
• Experience with full-stack web frameworks like Django or Spring Boot.
• Expertise in REST APIs, messaging architectures, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Good German and English language skills.
• Agile development experience, preferably SCRUM.
