Frontend Engineer

TL;DR

Frontend Engineer (TypeScript): Developing and improving frontend API clients, frameworks, and tools to enable fast, reliable, and data-rich user experiences across hirify.global products with an accent on client networking, performance optimization, and infrastructure tooling. Focus on designing cross-platform solutions, collaborating with product and infrastructure teams, and driving best practices in web client development.

Location: Remote within the United States only, must live in a state where hirify.global has a registered entity. Occasional onsite work at hirify.global offices or offsites may be required.

Salary: $191,000—$223,000 USD

What you will do

• Develop foundational, cross-platform frontend solutions in collaboration with Android and iOS engineers.
• Partner with product teams to identify pain points, pilot solutions, and promote adoption of tooling and frameworks.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and product foundation teams to build additional capabilities.
• Participate in all phases of software development including architecture, design, implementation, testing, and on-call support.

Requirements

• Must have 8+ years of industry experience.
• Extensive experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
• Proven experience on Infrastructure or Platform teams supporting medium to large engineering organizations.
• Strong skills in client networking, performance optimization, caching, client storage, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and promoting best practices.
• Must reside in a US state where hirify.global has a registered entity.
