Location: Hybrid in Redmond, United States. Employees who live within a 50-mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. or 25-mile commute of a non-U.S., country-specific location are expected to work from the office at least four days per week.

Salary: USD $139,900 – $274,800 per year (typical U.S. range); USD $188,000 – $304,200 per year (San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area)

• Participate in the design, implementation, and execution of features, including directly building state-of-the-art LLM models.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years related experience (or equivalent).
• At least 8+ years of industry software development experience coding in C/C++, C#, Java and/or Python.
• Solid knowledge in deep learning computational graph frameworks, such as TensorFlow/PyTorch.
• Experience in LLM, including fine-tuning and evaluation for product scenarios.
• Experience developing and deploying live production systems, working through full product cycles from initial design to final product delivery.
• Experience applying LLM techniques or recommendation systems.
