What you will do
- Sell Square products face-to-face 80% of the time to generate leads, perform demos, and close deals.
- Build and maintain relationships with local sellers and partners to generate referrals and grow pipeline.
- Collaborate with onboarding, account management, and customer support teams to ensure seller success.
- Conduct 50-60 weekly drop-ins and engage with community associations to build brand awareness.
- Develop expertise in Square hardware and software solutions for effective demos and onboarding.
- Track sales activities and pipeline status using Salesforce to meet and exceed sales goals.
Requirements
- Must live in the market served and have reliable transportation.
- 3+ years of full-cycle field sales experience with a track record of exceeding targets.
- Ability to independently drive deals in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with business development, hunting, and cold calling.
- Prior experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM tools.
- Preferred: 2+ years in payment processing or related technology and experience selling to restaurants, retail, or service businesses.
