TL;DR

Software Development Engineer Intern (AI): Developing scalable cloud-native solutions and distributed systems with an accent on algorithm optimization, microservices architecture, and GenAI integration. Focus on end-to-end ownership of code lifecycle from design through deployment and operational maintenance.

Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Germany (Berlin, Dresden, Aachen, or Munich). Internship is onsite, Monday-Friday.

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable cloud-native solutions within distributed computing environments.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to build and operate innovative products.

• Build resilient, fault-tolerant, and cost-effective distributed systems.
• Utilize GenAI tools to enhance development productivity and software quality.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree or higher in CS or related fields.
• Must be able to work onsite in Germany full-time (40h/week).
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C/C++, Java, or Python.
• Strong grasp of CS fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, and OOD.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and think abstractly about complex problems.

Nice to have

• Previous technical internship experience.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and relational databases.
• Experience in optimization mathematics (linear or nonlinear).
