What you will do

• Develop and maintain high-scale transit schedule and ticket booking systems handling hundreds of thousands of daily departures.
• Design smart seat allocation and dynamic revenue management algorithms to optimize capacity and pricing.
• Evolve data transformation layers and pipelines to ensure high data quality and semantic consistency.
• Improve development workflows, including CI/CD, testing strategies, and release processes.
• Partner with product and operations stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Drive technical excellence through AI-assisted development, observability, and scalable self-service tooling.

Requirements

• Several years of experience building and operating backend services in Python.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, data-intensive applications, and event-driven architectures.
• Deep database expertise including transaction management, ACID guarantees, and query optimization.
• Fluent in English with excellent written communication skills for asynchronous collaboration.
• Ability to independently drive projects and manage competing priorities in a distributed team.
