What you will do

• Develop and validate AI solution pilots using the watsonx platform.
• Optimize the performance of AI solutions, including foundation and large language models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AI engineers, platform engineers, sales) for successful delivery.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
• Stay updated with AI trends, foundation models, and large language models.

Requirements

• Actively enrolled undergraduate or graduate university student seeking a B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Knowledge in Python, R, Java, or similar programming languages.
• Conversant about AI technology, industry trends, and business applications.
• Strong analytic, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work in Canada without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Hugging Face.
• Experience with LLM and foundational models.
• Understanding of libraries like SciKit Learn, Pandas, Matplotlib.
• Familiarity with open-source technology, automation, and legacy coding.
