What you will do

• Design, implement, and manage Linux-based data serving solutions.
• Set up and configure internal and external database instances (Oracle, DB2 UDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB).
• Create database solution assets and provide technical enablement to customers.
• Work on Proof of Technologies (POTs) to compare LinuxONE to existing or future technologies.
• Enable and help customers adopt hirify.global LinuxONE data serving solutions, including AI capabilities.
• Administer container-based data serving solutions and Linux infrastructure in a Hybrid cloud environment.
• Design, create, and maintain automation scripts and workflows on Linux systems for customer-facing products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience in setup and configuration of database instances (e.g., Oracle, DB2 UDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB).
• Experience in database performance, high availability, backup and recovery, monitoring, and security concepts.
• Experience in Linux operating systems (Red Hat, Ubuntu, SUSE) and infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Linux shell, Python, and Bash for infrastructure automation.
• Proven effective communication and presentation skills, teamwork.
• Highly self-motivated and resourceful, aptitude to learn and apply knowledge quickly.
• Fluent in English.
• Readiness to work in US Eastern time zones upon need.

Nice to have

• Ability to design and conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) and Proof of Technologies (POTs).
• Ability to present technical presentations to technical leaders and executives.
• Experience in integration with 3rd party platforms/solution through REST APIs.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Practical experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform), monitoring tools (Instana, Grafana, Prometheus), and virtualization technologies (e.g., z/VM, KVM, OpenStack).
• Working knowledge of hirify.global Z and LinuxONE.
