What you will do

• Develop and test hirify.global zSecure security software to function according to specifications and client requirements.
• Exploit z/OS and z/VM operating system features and integrate with z/OS security software products like RACF, ACF2, and Top Secret.
• Design, build, and test new functionalities, perform code reviews, and give solution demos.
• Collaborate within an Agile development team, providing feedback on usability, serviceability, and documentation.
• Define or help define testing criteria and develop test cases/scenarios/use cases.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of logical functions, the overall zSecure solution, and the target market.

Requirements

• Minimum five years’ experience as a software developer, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Programming experience in Assembler (preferred), PLX, Metal C, C, or C++ (on a kernel or embedded level).
• Familiarity with z/OS and z/VM operating system environments and z/OS security software products like RACF, ACF2, and Top Secret.
• Knowledge of subsystems such as CICS, IMS, Db2, and MQ.
• Strong analytical thinking, personal drive, and willingness to gain knowledge of the z platform from a security point of view.
• English: Fluent required
