Aws Devops Engineer (Defence Sector): Leading the design and implementation of complex AWS infrastructure solutions with an accent on strategic AWS infrastructure management and integration with DevOps toolchains. Location: Hybrid in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, United Kingdom. Must be resident in the UK for the last 10 years and hold or be able to gain UK government security clearance.

What you will do

Shape and lead AWS infrastructure strategy aligned with business goals.
Design, develop, and implement complex AWS infrastructure solutions.
Mentor senior team members and foster continuous learning.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define system architecture and integrate DevOps pipelines.
Oversee AWS infrastructure roadmaps and best practices.

Requirements

Must have valid right to work in the UK and continuous UK residency for 10 years.
Ability to hold or gain UK government security clearance.
Bachelor's degree and extensive AWS Administration certification.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, Docker, and CRIO management.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

Experience with cloud-native architectures and container orchestration best practices.
Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance measurement metrics.
