What you will do
- Plan, set up, and execute programmatic campaigns across video and display using RTB.
- Analyze campaign data to identify strategic optimizations and maximize ROI against business objectives.
- Manage day-to-day operations and relationships with core DSPs, SSPs, and agency trading desks.
- Own technical execution, including inventory setup, audience segmentation, and advanced data targeting.
- Act as the in-house programmatic expert, providing strategic recommendations to senior teams and clients.
- Evaluate new platforms and technologies to keep the agency and clients at the cutting edge of the industry.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of dedicated, hands-on experience in a programmatic buying or trading role.
- Advanced-level experience with at least one major DSP, primarily Google DV360 or The Trade Desk.
- Strong practical understanding of the programmatic ecosystem (SSPs, Ad Exchanges, DMPs), ad-serving, and tag management.
- Proven ability to analyze complex datasets and translate performance data into actionable insights.
- Location: Must be based in Johannesburg, South Africa
Nice to have
- Official certifications in Google DV360 or Google Ads.
- Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM).
- Client-facing experience and strong presentation skills.
