What you will do

• Administer and automate operations of Google Kubernetes Engine clusters supporting critical services and ML infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve Kubernetes adoption and developer experience.
• Build self-service platforms, documentation, and automation to streamline product and ML engineering workflows.
• Participate in on-call rotations and reduce operational toil and technical debt.
• Maintain and upgrade Kubernetes addons, ingress controllers, telemetry, and container security components.
• Support multi-zone GPU utilization and service mesh enablement across clusters.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States, preferably near Brooklyn or San Francisco Bay Area for hybrid work.
• 2+ years experience in systems/infrastructure engineering, SRE, or DevOps in cloud environments.
• Strong software engineering skills with proficiency in Go, Python, or PHP.
• Experience with Kubernetes administration, container orchestration, and cluster security.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
• Proficient with Linux OS debugging and operations.

Nice to have

• Experience with ML Operations (MLOps).
• Familiarity with large-scale distributed systems and observability tooling.
