What you will do

• Drive the long-term technical vision and architecture of the backend platform across multiple squads.
• Lead design and delivery of scalable, reliable, event-driven, domain-oriented systems.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with engineering and product leadership.
• Develop and enforce code quality standards and conduct architectural reviews.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies.
• Maintain system observability and performance diagnostics.

Requirements

• Must be located in Poland.
• 9+ years of experience designing and operating complex backend systems.
• Expertise in modern backend frameworks (Ruby on Rails preferred) and multiple programming languages.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS), containerization, serverless architectures, and event-driven systems.
• Strong knowledge of domain-driven design and scalable API design.
• Passion for AI technologies and staying current with AI/ML advancements.
