Software Engineer II (Voice Client): Develop and enhance voice solutions for a cloud contact center platform focusing on desktop and web applications using SIP, WebRTC, and related technologies. Focus on building scalable, high-performing voice applications and solving complex VOIP system challenges.
Location: Remote from Canada

What you will do
- Develop a scalable, highly available global voice platform as part of an agile team.
- Apply performance and scalability principles in software development.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Engineering leaders, and test engineers.
- Mentor and train junior team members.
- Engage with customers to improve voice solutions based on feedback.
Requirements
- Must have 5+ years of experience in software development and VOIP troubleshooting.
- Strong expertise in WebRTC, SIP signaling, and JavaScript.
- Practical experience in C++ or Java for at least two years.
- Experience with audio media analysis, debugging, and complex system problem solving.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant discipline.
Nice to have
- Understanding of VOIP protocols like SIP, RTP, RTCP, and network protocols.
- Experience in telecom or IoT fields.
- Experience with Contact Centre, IVR, Virtual Agents, and telecom service providers.
