What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Node.js microservices and backend systems.
• Write efficient Postgres queries, manage schema changes using Sequelize ORM.
• Contribute to system architecture ensuring future-proof, reusable, and performant designs.
• Lead creation of reusable components and promote heuristic design principles.
• Leverage LLM technology (LangChain, OpenAI) to integrate intelligent features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, especially Customer Success, and participate in code reviews and mentoring.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong focus on backend development.
• Proven expertise with Node.js and building microservices architectures.
• Deep knowledge of Postgres including query optimization, indexing, and ORM (Sequelize).
• Experience with system/application architecture, reusable patterns, and scalability.
• Hands-on with LLMs, LangChain, and OpenAI APIs.
• Strong communication skills and proactive team player in fast-paced environments.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AWS.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Background in customer-facing SaaS products.
