Salary: $180,000 - $440,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Develop and optimize infrastructure software across on-premise, virtual machine, and classified cloud environments for US government initiatives.
• Enhance reliability, performance, and cost-effectiveness of infrastructure supporting large-scale AI workloads in secure settings.
• Collaborate with engineers to design solutions meeting government-specific needs and compliance standards.
• Implement observability, monitoring, and security practices adhering to federal protocols.
• Manage storage infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Pulumi, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Drive system reliability through incident management, postmortems, and defining SLAs/SLOs while maintaining security.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance required
• 5+ years experience in infrastructure or site reliability engineering, preferably in secure or government environments.
• Proficiency with IaC tools such as Pulumi, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes stack including CNI, CRI, CSI components.
• Strong communication and documentation skills for handling sensitive information.

Nice to have

• Experience with GPU hardware installation, drivers, and debugging.
• Familiarity with high-traffic application workloads and Kubernetes optimization in classified settings.
• Knowledge of chaos engineering, capacity planning, and infrastructure automation tools like Kyverno, ArgoCD, or Go programming.
• Security certifications such as CISSP or experience in secure federal environments.
