What you will do

• Collaborate with customer Analytics/BI teams and hirify.global colleagues on data integration, pipeline setup, and ML model configuration
• Develop reusable data pipelines, APIs, and components to extend product capabilities
• Work closely with reinforcement learning pipeline team to advance self-learning algorithms
• Contribute to product strategy and roadmap through customer-facing insights and technical expertise
• Provide ongoing technical support to ensure successful adoption and measurable outcomes

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid role based in Vancouver with global remote options
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field; Master’s or PhD preferred
• 3–5+ years experience as Data Scientist or ML Engineer with large-scale data and production environments
• Proficiency in Python, ML libraries (TensorFlow, Keras, scikit-learn, CatBoost, XGBoost), and SQL
• Strong engineering practices including modular code, CI/CD, testing, and code reviews
• Experience in customer-facing roles and ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly

Nice to have

• Experience with DevOps tools (Airflow, Kubernetes, Terraform, GCP)
• Data integration/ETL and pipeline optimization skills
• Reinforcement learning algorithm experience
