What you will do
- Manage and maintain multiple MongoDB servers across environments using Atlas and Ops Manager.
- Design and implement redundancy, fail-over, and backup strategies.
- Monitor and tune database performance, optimize queries and indexing.
- Configure replica sets and sharded clusters for scalability and resilience.
- Enforce data security best practices including access control and encryption.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues and conduct root cause analysis.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in Brazil for remote work
- Strong experience with large distributed MongoDB systems and HA strategies.
- Proven skills in performance tuning and NoSQL data modeling.
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English.
