What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level Linux infrastructure for high availability and security.
• Administer and optimize physical and virtual Linux servers ensuring security best practices.
• Develop automation scripts using Perl, Python, or PowerShell to streamline operations and monitoring.
• Manage and maintain SQL Server and Sybase databases ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain applications on servers including patching and upgrades.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across infrastructure, applications, and network components.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in New York, NY
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years experience managing Linux infrastructure in large enterprise environments.
• Expertise in scripting (Perl, Python, PowerShell) and automation for system monitoring and optimization.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with proven ability to manage IoT systems and ensure security compliance.
