Salary: USD $158,400–$258,000 for Software Engineering IC4, and USD $188,000–$304,200 for Software Engineering IC5 (San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area).

What you will do

• Design and implement end-to-end tools using TypeScript and Python for data collection and model evaluation in AI projects.
• Develop robust and scalable web features for internal tools, enhancing data and model evaluation efficiency.
• Collaborate with AI researchers, product managers, and engineers to define requirements and deliver high-impact solutions.
• Build and optimize data pipelines for collecting, processing, and analyzing large volumes of data for AI models.
• Actively contribute to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture, embodying hirify.global’s values.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including TypeScript, Python, C, C++, C#, or Java.
• 4+ years of experience in building and deploying web-based tools or applications.
• Strong experience with JavaScript and its ecosystem, particularly React.js.
• Demonstrated understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• English: B2 required.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on building tools for data collection and/or model evaluation.
• Experience with Next.js or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Familiarity with data science and machine learning concepts.
