What you will do

• Build, implement, and scale machine learning models to detect and prevent fraud.
• Lead initiatives in the Risk & Fraud space, setting technical direction and influencing team strategy.
• Leverage SQL and Python to transform and prepare large-scale datasets for analysis and modeling.
• Deliver high-quality, production-ready ML solutions.
• Design experiments, apply statistical methods, and evaluate model performance.
• Partner with Operations, Product, and Engineering teams to respond to emerging fraud patterns.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science or Machine Learning Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Proven experience building and deploying end-to-end ML models into production.
• Solid foundation in statistics and experimental design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to distill insights from complex data.
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Background in financial services, payments, lending, or risk/fraud systems.
• Degree from a top-tier Computer Science, Data Science, or related program.
• Experience mentoring or providing technical direction.
