What you will do

• Lead the full product lifecycle for compliance applications, from requirements gathering to delivery.
• Ensure systems and databases align with SEC and FINRA regulations.
• Act as the bridge between Compliance, Legal, Engineering, and external vendors.
• Integrate third-party compliance tools into internal platforms.
• Collaborate with data teams to ensure accurate and auditable compliance data.
• Manage agile ceremonies, sprint backlogs, and deliverables.
• Provide hands-on database expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and scaling very large datasets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 10+ years in Database Administration, including 8+ years with Microsoft SQL Server (2016+).
• Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL administration and optimization.
• Proven experience managing very large datasets (2B+ records).
• Expertise in query optimization, indexing strategies, partitioning, scaling, and archiving.
• Hands-on experience with high availability solutions (Always On, Log Shipping, Replication).
• Scripting proficiency (PowerShell, T-SQL, Bash, Python).
• Experience with cloud database solutions (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, Aurora, managed PostgreSQL).
• Strong communication and leadership skills with ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
• Regulated industry experience (finance, healthcare, etc.) is a plus.
