What you will do

• Lead agile engineering teams through the full software development lifecycle in a collaborative environment.
• Drive architectural decisions and best practices across Python, React, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Linux/Windows deployments.
• Foster a culture of creative problem-solving, A/B testing, and continuous improvement of delivery processes.
• Mentor engineers to grow technically and professionally while maintaining a healthy and inclusive team culture.
• Manage production defects, complex troubleshooting, and process streamlining under pressure.
• Partner with leadership to align software development with business goals and integrate AI tooling effectively.

Requirements

• Must be a UK resident to work remotely.
• Proven experience leading software development teams in scale-up or fast-growth tech environments.
• Strong background in DevOps, cloud-native development, and IaaS platforms.
• Experience with Agile/DevOps workflows, Jira, Confluence, Terraform, Kubernetes, and cloud GPU platforms.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.

Nice to have

• Agile certifications such as Scrum Master or PMP.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and database triggers.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud and on-premises software delivery environments.
