Location: United States - Texas - Austin

Salary: $146,000.00 to $204,500.00

What you will do

• Propose improvements to designs and processes; actively participate as a key team member in all agile ceremonies, code and design reviews.
• Apply software design principles, data structures and/or design patterns and computer science fundamentals to write code that is clean, maintainable, optimized, modular with good naming conventions.
• Recommend and apply architectural patterns or GenAI capabilities to improve system design and innovation.
• Enhance service reliability through observability, automation, and continuous operational improvements.
• Participate in on-call support of team’s services through PagerDuty rotation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related technical field; or Equivalent related professional experience
• 3+ years of experience in backend software development, working with cloud-based and distributed systems at scale
• Prior professional work experience with Java, JavaScript, code versioning tools (e.g. Git) and Agile development methodologies is a requirement
• Experience building front-end and backend services and a strong understanding of API services as a product
• Strong communication skills and the ability to flesh out functional requirements with the product team
