Salary: $91,000 - $146,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead board design projects collaborating with architects, product managers, mechanical and physical layout engineers, and SI engineers.
• Create schematics, functional specifications, and unit test plans for PCB designs.
• Perform pre and post simulation of board designs and manage Bill of Materials.
• Support new and existing designs through engineering change orders and problem debugging.
• Coordinate with firmware teams and contracted design/test services.
• Communicate effectively in English with peers, management, marketing, and customers.

Requirements

• Must be located in the USA (Duluth, Georgia) and able to work onsite.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of PCB design experience.
• Experience with high-speed PCB designs, DC/DC regulator circuits, and board bring-up tools.
• Proficiency in Cadence-Allegro System Capture, PCB Editor, and simulation tools like Cadence Sigrity PowerDC and LTSPICE/PSPICE.
• Fluent English communication skills for verbal interaction.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, C, TCL, VHDL, Verilog, and Github.
• Microcontroller programming and high current DC/DC design.
• Familiarity with test equipment such as TDR and VNA.
• Experience with PCB stack-up design and checklists.
