Location: San Francisco, CA, USA with hybrid work model (3 days in office per week) and relocation assistance

Salary: $255,000–$405,000 + equity

What you will do

• Build and maintain foundational datasets and metrics reflecting infrastructure usage, efficiency, and scaling
• Develop forecasting and optimization models to support infrastructure planning and resource allocation
• Partner with engineering, research, and product teams to shape infrastructure strategy through data
• Create source-of-truth dashboards and analyses guiding infrastructure decisions across the company

Requirements

• Location: Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate
• 5+ years in quantitative roles in infrastructure, systems, or platform domains
• Strong skills in SQL and Python with experience building models and analyses
• Experience defining and operationalizing system performance and resource usage metrics
• Excellent communication and strategic mindset for actionable insights

Nice to have

• Experience as a data partner in large-scale backend systems
• Comfortable balancing fast-paced execution with long-term impact
• Strong programming background for simulations and prototyping
• Experience in NLP, large language models, or generative AI
